Lasair Capital’s name is inspired by Celtic mythology. When Lasair was established in 2008, our CEO and Founder, Carrie McCabe, sought a name that reflects the firm’s philosophy and its covenants with investors. DPG completed a total rebranding across all of Lasair’s marketing collateral to support and reenforce this vision and philosophy.

Seeking a new identity and branding to launch their new company, ASC Advisors teamed up with DPG to theme and bring the brand to life. In the end ASC Advisors and DPG form a strategic partnership to bring this valuable resource to their clients.

Miller Buckfire specializes in delivering strategic advice on complex financial issues including capital raising through the public markets, privately-placed equity, debt transactions and restructuring. The look and feel of the Miller Buckfire website did a poor job of representing the complexity and level of services offered by the firm. DPG overhauled the existing architecture and launched a new website more in line with the depth of the firm’s products and offerings. DPG delivered a new design, original photography and refreshed messaging that completed the package to deliver a comprehensive vehicle to drive their message to their own clients to much success.

MetalMark Capital is a leading private equity firm established by principals of Morgan Stanley Capital Partners to manage MetalMark Capital and MSCP funds. DPG was approached to develop the new entity’s branding structure through strategy and design. These deliverables included naming, positioning, logo design, corporate identity, collateral, signage, wayfinding and website.

The UBS Wealth Management Group is seeking a new way to present their capabilities that will set them apart from their competitors while at the same time adhering to the strict guidelines of their current UBS corporate identity. Rather than doing a standard pocket folder and deck, DPG is in the process of exploring various design directions to deliver the information.

MasterCard, in need of a logo “face lift”, approached DPG to design a new corporate identity system that would help launch a new line of business and consumer products. DPG refreshed the MasterCard logo to give it a modern look and feel while maintaining the overall integrity and recognition of the brand. We went on to create a new corporate identity system that cut across a comprehensive list of logo usages such as collateral, stationery, advertising, product brochures, electronic banners and signage. This comprehensive corporate identity system was distributed to all MasterCard offices and marketing agencies worldwide.

Brand extension.

The Merrill Lynch Private Banking Group was in the process of launching a series of new products targeted to high net worth individuals and needed an identity system to distinguish the marketing collateral from the retail bank. DPG devised the “Spectrum of Services” kit, which was a breast-pocket sized container with an overview of each of the products on 7 color-coded stepped inserts. When a client expressed interest in a specific product, they were presented with a comprehensive full-sized pocket folder with matching graphics and all of the necessary documentation to open an account. DPG extended the program to deliver the material in 6 languages for worldwide distribution.
